PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the usage fee of a database according to the degree of utilization of the database by a user.;SOLUTION: In this system for providing the use service of the database to a user terminal 14 which accesses through a network 12, relation history information showing the relation between information stored in an information database 16, and the usage fee of the database is determined on the basis of the relation history information. More specifically, the number of relation history objects showing the relation history are weighted according to the kind of relation history to determine the quantity of relation history, and the usage fee is calculated on the basis of the quantity of relation history.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
