PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for verifying the safety of equipment by utilizing an equipment model and a worker model on the upstream side of a design production process and using a visual field image seen from the visual point of the worker model in a virtual three-dimensional space.;SOLUTION: This equipment safety verification device for verifying the safety of equipment in the intrusion of a foreign matter from the opening of the equipment or the dropping of a part in the equipment, comprises an equipment arrangement part 12 for arranging the equipment model to be verified in the virtual three-dimensional space; a visual field angle designation part 13 for designating the visual field angle of the worker model; an opening position designation part 14 for designating the opening's position of the equipment model; a visual point position designation part 15 for designating the visual point position of the worker model; a worker arrangement part 16 for arranging the worker model in the virtual three-dimensional space based on the opening's position or the visual point position; and a visual field image display part 17 for determining the range of the visual field image when seen from the worker model's visual point with the visual line direction of the worker model vertically downward by use of the visual field angle, and displaying the visual field image of this range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
