PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process AV data and the copyright protection suited to the type of mounted apparatus and the use of interfaces.;SOLUTION: The AV communication system comprises a radio AV transmitter for wirelessly transmitting AV data, and a radio AV receiver for receiving the AV data from the radio AV transmitter over a radio network. A radio LAN-LSI 4 in the radio AV apparatus wirelessly transmits AV data fed over an AV streaming signal line after processing the copyright protection thereof. The radio AV transmitter 1 contains a radio LAN-LSI 4 for wirelessly transmitting AV data fed over a general-purposed bus, as they are. Either the radio AV transmitter 1 having a signal line for AV only or that having a general-purposed bus may utilize the same radio LAN-LSI 4.
