PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for manufacturing a water-permeable block for pavement in which a base layer is constituted of water-permeable concrete and a surface layer is constituted of water-permeable mortar and water- impermeable mortar to prevent contamination in water-permeable block pavement.;SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method, the water-permeable base layer concrete is supplied to a mold, and the water-permeable mortar and the water- impermeable mortar are supplied separately on the concrete by a mortar supply box to mold the water-permeable block for pavement in which the base layer is constituted of the water-permeable base layer concrete, and the surface layer is constituted of the water-permeable mortar and the water-impermeable mortar. The water permeable block for pavement has a coefficient of water permeability of 0.01 cm/sec or more. The base layer is made of the water-permeable concrete, and the surface layer comprises a bright color water-impermeable mortar surface and a dark color water-permeable mortar surface in water permeable block for pavement and both mortar surfaces occupy 20-80% of the entire surface of the block.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
