PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that operations make progress by exchanging information between each office, a head office and a physical distribution center (warehouse), but a physical distribution system with consistency, which controls from order reception arrangement to reserve and shipment, is not constructed, in a conventional physical distribution system.;SOLUTION: A host computer 12 in the head office has an inventory ledger and collectively manages arrangement data from a terminal 11 in one office, inventory information in the warehouse, information of scheduled articles to be carried in the warehouse, and the reserve information for arrangement. And the host computer 12 groups arrangement information and the like on the basis of a shipment date, efficiently operates reserve management for the arrangement and gives instructions of shipment to a host computer 13 for the warehouse. In the host computer 13 for the warehouse, a warehouse ledger (information of drum management and the like) is retrieved and shipping work content instructions are output, on the basis of the shipping instructions received from the host computer 12 in the head office.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
