PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bile acid-adsorbing polymer capable of more selectively adsorbing bile acid alone, and to provide a hypocholesterolemic agent excellent in compliance through solving dose-related problems having constituted a burden for relevant patients in conventional agents comprising anion exchange resins.;SOLUTION: The bile acid-adsorbing polymer is a crosslinked polymer having bile acid-adsorbing performance. This polymer meets the relationship (1): B/A×100≥100 (wherein, A is the bile acid adsorption in an aqueous physiological saline solution of 6.4 mM in bile acid concentration; and B is the bile acid adsorption in an aqueous physiological saline solution of 6.4 mM in bile acid concentration and 9.9 mM in fatty acid concentration).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
