PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way delay time measuring method and a one-way delay time measuring apparatus for an end to end delay including a transmission delay in a voice CODEC wherein it is avoided that one apparatus measures the one-way delay time depending on the other apparatus.;SOLUTION: The one-way delay time measuring method for communication terminals 16 and 19 for communicating an analog signal via a public telephone network 15, includes; a transmission step of transmitting a measurement analog signal from each of the communication terminals; a reception step of receiving the measurement analog signal of the opposite terminal by each of the communication terminals; a measurement step of measuring a time until the reception of the measurement analog signal of the opposite terminal after transmission of the measurement analog signal by each of the communication terminals, wherein the one-way delay time td between the communication terminals is obtained by expression of td=(Δt1+Δt2)/2, where Δt1, Δt2 are times respectively measured by each of the communication terminals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
