PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurately predicted image even in the case of a time sequential image to rapidly change an image pattern in the manner of time by predicting an image feature amount at the time of a prediction object on the basis of a time change in the image feature amounts of image sequences in the past stored in a database. SOLUTION: The time sequential image is inputted (S1) and the image feature amount of the time sequential image is extracted and stored in a storage means (S2). The time sequential image of a prediction object is inputted and the image feature amount of the time sequential prediction object image is calculated (S3). The time sequential image of the calculated prediction object image feature amount similar to that of the time sequential image stored in the storage means is retrieved and on the basis of the image feature amount of the retrieved time sequential image in the storage means, the image feature amount of the time sequential prediction object image inputted as the prediction object in the future is predicted (S4). From the predicted image feature amount in the future, an image in the future is constituted again and outputted as the predicted image (S5).
