PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one or a plurality of systems for spectrally multiplexing a plurality of source images to provide a composite image, rendering the composite image, and demultiplexing such a composite image to recover one or more of the source images. PSOLUTION: The system includes steps of: encoding the plurality of source images into the composite image; rendering the composite image on a substrate by using a plurality of dyes; and recovering at least one encoded source image from the rendered composite image to make distinguishable the recovered source image by illuminating the rendered composite image by a narrow band light emitting body selected in advance to represent the source image.
