METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ROUND-SHAPED BILLET BY BLOOMING CONTINUOUSLY CAST BLOOM OF STEEL GRADE SUS 430 SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently performing blooming by which an existing blooming roll equipment is used as it is by applying a blooming pass schedule preventing the inclination of a bloom in a blooming roll caliber when blooming a continuously cast bloom of the steel grade of SUS 430 system.;SOLUTION: This method is a manufacturing method of a round billet 4 by blooming the continuously cast bloom and, in a pass schedule in a finishing stage of the pass schedule for blooming the continuously cast bloom, first, a box-shaped billet 1 rolled by the pass schedule of the early stage pass schedule is made into a round billet 2 by passing through a finishing circle caliber V in the front of which guide rollers are installed. Next, the round billet 2 is made into an elliptic billet 3 having a straight body part by passing through a box caliber I and furthermore the elliptic billet 3 is finished as a round billet 4 by passing through the finishing circle caliber V in the front of which the guide rollers are installed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
