PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release the lock state of a locking mechanism in a mobile shelf when a vibration in a front and rear direction is added to the mobile shelf without releasing it even when the vibration in a left and right direction is added in a automatic lock releasing device. ;SOLUTION: The lock mechanism 2 is provided with a lock member 22 which is engaged with a driving power transmitting mechanism 4 which transmits the rotary force of the handle 8 of the mobile shelf 3 to running wheels so as to prevent the rotation of the running wheels and a lock operating rod 18 which permits the lock member 22 to selectively move to an engagement position and a non-engagement position as against the driving power transmitting mechanism 4 by an external operation. Then, the lock operation rod 18 of the lock mechanism 2 is operated by the movement of a mobile body which is movable in a front and rear direction when the vibration is added to the mobile shelf 3.
