PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire phase managing device and method capable of gradually grasping the developing conditions of a fire in a room from a remote place.;SOLUTION: In this fire phase managing method using a fire phase managing device 1, a time Δt required when it ascends and passes in a predetermined temperature section is detected from temperature information in the neighborhood of a ceiling surface obtained by a sensor 2, and a required time in the similar temperature section when a fire is generated in a room whose design stage is estimated is set as a phase development reference time T_f. The manager of a building monitors the developing conditions of a fire by comparing the time Δt with the phase development reference time T_f based on the temperature information acquired by the heat detecting function of a sensor 2 concerning a room where there is any possibility of fire generation by using a central processing unit 3. At least two temperature sections to be monitored are set so that it is possible to gradually monitor the developing conditions of a fire by each set temperature section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
