PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deliver a delivery object in the confidential state of personal information on a sender and an addressee without installing a database for storing information in need of strict management.;SOLUTION: An addressee terminal unit acquires a public key of a delivery company from a delivery company's server device, uses the public key to cipher addressee information comprising the personal information of the addressee necessary at least for the delivery of the delivery object, by a ciphering program of the delivery company downloaded beforehand, and transmits the addressee cipher information to a sender terminal unit. The sender terminal unit outputs the transmitted addressee cipher information to attach it to the delivery object entrusted to the delivery company. The outputted addressee cipher information is decoded by a cipher reader of the delivery company, using the private key of the delivery company, and information on the delivery place of the addressee is acquired by the delivery company.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
