PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging medical examination apparatus and method which expands the coverage of the reconstruction of a picture in connection with the examination of a movable object to be examined by a CT scanner or C arm apparatus.;SOLUTION: A lot of rotary movement (Rm, n= 1, 2, ∼M) which covers the same angular range (αmax) of a base (7) which supports an X-ray source (2) and a detector (5) respectively is produced, and a measured data set is generated respectively during a lot of measuring intervals (Dnm, n=1∼N, m=1∼M) in a method to obtain three dimensional measured data of an object to be examined moving periodically by cycle time (TRR ). A turnover period (Trot) of rotating is set so that a lot of phase intervals of periodic movements to scan by a measuring interval (Dnm) arise in each rotary movement (Rm). A synchronizing signal derived from periodic movement of the object to be examined is used for scanning the same phase intervals of periodic movements respectively at the measuring interval (Dnm).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
