MEASUREMENT METHOD AND MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENTS FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT SORTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make respective quality measurement instruments to be used for different kinds of products to be measured able to exhibit their measuring capabilitys to the maximum and to make the measuring instruments arrangeable at a low cost and advantageously in installation space.;SOLUTION: An agricultural product housed in a saucer 2 transported by a main transportation conveyer 1 is photographed by an image sensor 9 to check the outside shape and damages and the sugar content, ripening degree, and moisture are measured with an internal transmission light meter 3. The ripening degree and moisture are set as re-measurement items. When an arithmetic processor 12 determines remeasurement with respect to the re-measurement items, the agricultural product is separated aside to a branched conveyer 10 by a brancher 13 and re-measurement of the re-measurement items is carried out by a hammering test apparatus 4 to determine the sorting class and again the agricultural product is turned back again to the main transportation conveyer 1 and discharged to branched storage conveyers 8 (8A, 8B, and 8C) by sorters 7 (7A, 7B, and 7C).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
