PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nano-emulsion having high storage stability, keeping high transparency, exhibiting good cosmetic properties and capable of holding a large amount of oil by including a surfactant exhibiting solid state at a specific temperature and composed of e.g. an ester of a fatty acid and a sugar.;SOLUTION: The objective nano-emulsion contains an oil phase dispersed in a water phase, composed of oil droplets having a number-average size of 100 nm and exhibiting solid state at ≤45°C. The surfactant is selected from esters of a fatty acid and a sugar and ethers of a fatty alcohol and a sugar. At least one kind of the oil has a molecular weight of 400 and the weight ratio of the oil phase to the surfactant is 2-10. The turbidity of the nano- emulsion is preferably 60-600 NTU. The amount of the surfactant is 0.2-15 wt.%, preferably 1-8 wt.% based on the total nano-emulsion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
