PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for an air filter, capable of efficiently corrugating even a long separator sheet member, and forming the corrugated separator into one having a shape required for a separator.;SOLUTION: In the corrugating roll for corrugating the separator provided between creases of a brazing material folded in a crease-like manner, the corrugating roll consists of a plurality of unit rolls. Each unit roll consists of projected lines, which are arranged in parallel to the circumferential surface of a cylinder, the lines having rectangular cross sections formed by a valley line and ridge line each of which is straight from one end surface side to the other end surface. The unit rolls are connected in an axial direction so that the ridge lines of the unit rolls are aligned.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
