PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for analyzing a variation in a plurality of base sequencies with high precision and reducing a specimen to perform analysis rapidly and efficiently.;SOLUTION: In this microarray equipped with an array substrate having a plurality of capillary structures and a detection part wherein nucleic acid probes are provided on the inner surfaces of the capillary structures as a solid phase, many kinds of probe units, which include reference complementary probes complementary with respect to a reference base sequence and variation type complementary probes complementary with respect to a variation type base sequence, are provided on the detection part as a solid phase. A specimen solution, which contains reference nucleic acid containing the reference base sequence and/or variable nucleic acid containing the variation type base sequence, is introduced into the capillary structure and a hybrid double chain of the reference complementary probe and/or the variation type complementary probe and nucleic acid of the specimen solution is detected to detect the presence of the reference base sequence and/or the variation type base sequence.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
