PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate set-up and finish-up by a cared person himself during his use of a toilet and contribute to rehabilitation of the cared person by improving operability in opening/closing a toilet cover.;SOLUTION: A toilet seat part 2 is arranged and installed at either left or right end part of a hip mount part 12 and opening/closing operation of the toilet cover 3 is carried out by turning in a horizontal direction. An elevating mechanism 4 is interlocked with opening/closing movement of the toilet cover 3 so that both link parts are positioned to turn only forward when the toilet seat 2 is positioned in the uppermost part. A stopper 73 is provided in this position to stop the turning only forward of the both link parts. A transmitting mechanism 8 is used which interposes between a turning board 62 in a first link mechanism 6 and a toilet-seat lifting link part 71 in a second link mechanism 71 and converts the operation of the turning board 62 into the operation of the toilet-seat lifting link part 71.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
