PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous metal gas separator sheet material in a solid macromolecular fuel cell for exhibiting outstanding contact surface conductivity for a long period of time. PSOLUTION: The porous metal gas diffusion sheet that is arranged between the anode/cathode of the lamination type solid macromolecular fuel cell and a separator plate having a double-sided gas channel for diffusing gas and collecting power. The porous metal gas diffusion sheet comprises a foam generation pore, and a skeleton (skeleton texture) where a sintered generation pore is inherent. The skeleton contains 40-48% Cr, 0.1-2% Mo and/or W, and 0.01-1% B in percentage by mass, and the remainder is made of Ni and unavoidable impurities. Additionally, the skeleton has an organization where metal boride is dispersed and distributed to the foundation of austenite, and is constituted of a porous Ni group alloy sintered body having a porosity of 40-98 vol.%.
