PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide porous ceramics which can be utilized suitably as a bioreactor.;SOLUTION: This is to carry out processes in order comprising a homogeneous distribution process 2 to grind finely a raw material of kibushi clay and distribute homogeneously organic elements and inorganic elements contained in the raw material, a preliminary calcination process 4 to form a nucleus aggregate which envelops inorganic elements and a part of organic decomposition gases in a Ca-K-Si-O base composition vitreous shell by making the most of high potassium content and a porous wall formation process 6 to burn the nucleus aggregate and make holes on walls by the expanded inorganic elements and organic decomposition gases bursting through walls of the aggregate and thus make the aggregate into a microporous structure with continuous blow holes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
