PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make safety of a structure in a primary design and a secondary design confirmed easily.;SOLUTION: In a computing part 16, a required held horizontal yield strength computing part 18 is provided to calculate required held horizontal yield strength of a building constructed or designed actually, using structural characteristic coefficients registered in a database 17, and a minimum held horizontal yield strength selecting part 19 is provided to select minimum held horizontal yield strength in a portion of which the held horizontal yield strength is minimum in the building, out of combinations of columns and beams. A comparison confirmation part 20 is provided also to compare the selected minimum held horizontal yield strength with the required held horizontal yield strength, and to confirm whether the minimum held horizontal yield strength exceeds the required held horizontal yield strength or not, in the computing part 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
