PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance expense estimation system for water treatment equipment capable of easily estimating maintenance expenses for the water treatment equipment and preventing an increase in a financial burden of a large amount of maintenance costs in the operation process of the water treatment equipment. PSOLUTION: This maintenance expense estimation system is provided with an equipment database storing information of the water treatment equipment constructed by a plurality of types of equipment, a device database storing the life time and/or maintenance frequency of each of the equipment and an expenses database storing unit costs of objects and work expenses about replacement or maintenance of each equipment. The equipment database and the equipment database are referred to, to find required maintenance items for the water treatment equipment over a prescribed term, a maintenance plan for the water treatment equipment is drawn up according to the required maintenance items (maintenance plan preparation means), and an expense storing means is referred to according to the maintenance plan to calculate maintenance expenses for the water treatment equipment (maintenance expense calculation means).
