This water treatment equipment maintenance support device comprises: a storage unit that stores task procedure data together with a task level for each task, said task procedure data explaining procedures for a plurality of tasks that address problems in water treatment equipment; a determination unit that determines whether there is a problem in the water treatment equipment on the basis of a signal from the water treatment equipment, and if there is a problem, specifies a task to address the problem, and determines whether the task level of the specified task is at or below a prescribed level; and a transmission unit that, if the task level of the specified task is at or below the prescribed level, withdraws task procedure data for the task from the storage unit and transmits the same to a reproduction device.
