A process for the preparation of the salen manganese complex compound, wherein the in DMF, is reacted with a manganese compound salen compounds are described. In a preferred embodiment, the synthesized in DMF as well salen compound per se, is reacted without isolation of the intermediate, to form the manganese complex.
