PURPOSE: To obtain a thin and light reinforced heat-fused nonwoven fabric having drapeability and flexibility and improved in a horizontal and perpendicular strength balance. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for producing a thin and light reinforced heat-fused nonwoven fabric is to heat fuse and unite fibers of a web layer 1 onto a reinforcing supporting body 2. The reinforcing supporting body 2 consists of a drawn and one direction oriented nonwoven fabric, where nonwoven fabric fibers are arranged almost in one direction and made by drawing a long fiber nonwoven fabric obtained by spinning a thermoplastic resin in one direction or a drawn cross laminated nonwoven fabric using the same.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
