PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining wall structure of a tunnel watchman's passage making it possible to precisely carry out the process of removing waste water from the surface of a road and spring water from the sidewall of the tunnel without requiring the cross section of the tunnel to be increased, thus reducing the cost of construction work.;SOLUTION: A retaining wall 10 comprises an upstanding wall part 11 and a bottom wall part 13 formed to protrude form the back of the lower portion of the upstanding wall part 11. A channel 14 is formed in the bottom wall part 13 and a water conduit 16 for waste water from the surface 15 of the road is opened to the front side of the upper portion of the bottom wall part 13. A water conduit 17 for spring water from the sidewall 12 of the tunnel is opened to the upper surface of the bottom wall part 13 and a required backfilling material 19 is packed into a void between the retaining wall 10 and the sidewall 12 of the tunnel.
