PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing plate made of cast iron, for use in an anchoring method, being remarkably lightweight as compared with PC frames used in conventional PCFA construction methods and therefore excellent in operability for the work of transporting it to a construction site and the work of laying it on the surface of construction, such as a cut face of slope. ;SOLUTION: A bearing plate A₁ for use in an anchoring method is tightened to an anchor member (d) locked into the ground and is pressed against the surface of construction to receive reaction from the surface of construction to protect the surface of construction. In this case, the bearing plate A₁ has a bearing surface part 1 made of cast iron and having a predetermined area, a reinforcing rib 2 formed on the front and/or back of the bearing surface part 1 to reinforce the bearing surface part 1, and an anchor connecting part formed on the bearing surface part 1 and to which the anchor member (d) is coupled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
