PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a group adaptation-type information retrieval device which improves the adaptability of an information retrieval system so that it is optimized for the information activity support of a specified user group. ;SOLUTION: Reuse of information activity such as referencing and retrieval of other group members is realized by indexing reference information of a user group which is collected by a reference information collection device, and information from an external retrieval system which is collected in a reference result collection device 1, so as to retrieve them. Thus, a retrieval device having a retrieval parent set adapted to the user group can be constructed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
