PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing and melting tank which hardly causes overcooling at the time of freezing treatment of an object to be treated and enabling uniform freezing to enhance dehydration effect, a sludge treatment apparatus equipped therewith and a freezing and melting treatment method. SOLUTION: The freezing and melting tank is equipped with a tank 2 capable of housing sludge, a freezing and melting means 2c for freezing and melting the sludge housed in the tank and vibration means 7, 8 for vibrating sludge. The sludge treatment apparatus equipped therewith and the freezing and melting treatment method are also disclosed.
