PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-proof method of a steel structure formed of a titanium-clad steel plate excellent in long-term durability, and its corrosion- proof structure. SOLUTION: Peripheral edges of a base metal 4 of a titanium-clad steel plate 2 are welded 6, 7 to a steel structure 1, and peripheral edges of a titanium backing plate 8 are welded 9 so as to be bridged to an adjacent titanium clad material 3 of adjacent titanium-clad steel plates 2 to seal an omission part 5 of the titanium clad materials, and a gap 11 at an end part of the omission part 5 of the titanium clad materials is sealed by the friction welding or friction cladding by welding of a titanium rod or other alloy rod.
