PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferritic-austenitic cast steel excellent in thermal fatigue resistance, corrosion fatigue resistance or the like useful as those, e.g. of the barrel member of a suction roll for paper making and provided with good drill workability.;SOLUTION: This alloy contains ≤0.05% C, 0.1 to 2.0% Si, 0.1 to 2.0% Mn, 20.0 to 23.0% Cr, 3.0 to 3.9% Ni, 0.5 to 1.4% Mo, ≤2.0% Cu and 0.05 to 0.2% N, contains, at request, one or more kinds of elements among Ti, Nb, V, Al, Zr, B, rare earth metals Co, Ta and Bi by a trace amt., and the balance Fe, in which the amt. of ferrite (%α) is 45 to 80 area %, and has a componential balance satisfying %Cr+3.3×%Mo+16×%N≤28 (%) and %α≥0.2×(%Cr/%N)+25.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
