PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a metallic powder coating material which has metallic feeling and weatherability equivalent to those of one obtained by a dry blending method and has an application workability equivalent to that of one obtained by a metal bonding method and in which a resin powder is bonded to a metal foil powder.;SOLUTION: In the production method, a resin powder and a metal foil powder are dispersed and mixed in each other in a fluidized bed. The resin powder and the metal foil powder, both in a fluidized state, are kept at a temperature not higher than the melting point of the resin and not lower than the glass transition point of the resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
