Method and apparatus for integrating an intelligent manufacturing system with an expert bending planning system

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide further flexibility in a high intelligence manufacturing system and a bending expert system for increasing the efficiency of the production and manufacturing of a bending sheet metal element. SOLUTION: This integral sheet metal manufacturing and producing system is provided with a high intelligence manufacturing system for preparing the bending model of a sheet metal part to be manufactured and an expert bending plan preparing system for preparing and proposing a bending plan for manufacturing the sheet metal part based on the bending model. The expert plan system is provided with plural expert modules. This device is provided with a system for selecting the plural expert modules for applying the expert bending plan preparing system to different bending applications. Thus, the expert bending plan preparing system prepares the bending plan based on the selectively started plural expert modules.
