ATMLAN system and its load distributed control method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time needed for load distribution control of a plurality of servers to which the same IP address is allocated. SOLUTION: A load distribution control part 8 has an internal information table where the IP address and the ATM address of each server 1 and 2 are respectively associated and the traffic information of a VC opened in each server 1 and 2 is managed. When an ARP server 7 receives an ATM address solution request message, the part 8 also detects a server having the smallest load between the servers 1 and 2 on the basis of the traffic information of the internal information table and notifies the server 7 of the ATM address of the server as an ATM address to be transmitted to a client.
