PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform-distortion judging device and a waveform- distortion judging method for performing always-correct judgment, without overlooking a delicate level difference, etc., by digitally judging the waveform of the leading-edge part and the waveform of the trailing-edge part of a logic signal inputted into a logical element in a logic circuit.;SOLUTION: A first differentiating part 6 sends a differentiated waveform out to a first rectifying part 7 and a second differentiating part 8. The rectifying part 7 half-wave-rectifies the waveform from the differentiating part 6, and sends it out to a detecting part 10. Moreover, the second part 8 differentiates the waveform from the first part 6, and sends it out to a second rectifying part. The second rectifying part 9 half-wave-rectifies the waveform from the second part 8, and sends it out to the detecting part 10. The detecting part 10 counts the numbers of the negative polarity pulses of the waveforms from the first part 7 and the second part 9 respectively, and determines whether or not a measured signal is normal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
