PURPOSE: To establish a technology of producing a metal having excellent plastic workability in the temp. range of the recrystallization or below. ;CONSTITUTION: The total content of gaseous components in a solid solution state is regulated to, by weight, ≤50ppm, and the dislocation density to ≤1×10¹⁰ (1/cm²). Moreover, between the total content of the gaseous components in a solid solution state and the dislocation density, the relation of ln (d²×C_gi×ρ)+ A≤-20 (where, d: the lattice constant (cm), C_gi: the total content (weight ratio ppm), ρ: the dislocation density (1/cm²), and A: the constant decided by crystal structures (body-centered cubic structure and body-centered tetragonal structure: 2, face-centered cubic structure: 0, and hexagonal close-packed structure: 1) is satisfied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
