World globe with world city information display function and driving method thereof

PURPOSE: A world globe having an information display function of world cities and a driving method thereof are provided, which displays present time and information of a city selected by rotation and a button of the world globe. CONSTITUTION: A world map is drawn on a spherical world globe(20), and a rotation axis penetrates through a center of the world globe. A sensing unit(28) is installed on a bottom side of the rotation axis and recognizes a world time zone. A selection unit(34) selects one of cities existing in the time zone selected by the sensing unit. A display unit(30) displays information of a city selected by the selection part. And a control unit store the information displayed on the display part and controls the selection unit.
