PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for external use by using the new application of a medicine represented by tinidazole having a sulfone group in a nitroimidazole-based compound, and further to provide the agent for the external use for treating, preventing and improving dermal tissue disorder, having more effective improving effect an the dermal tissue disorder and further having small side effects by selecting the composition, the formulating amount, the drug preparation, or the like.;SOLUTION: It is discovered that the agent for external use, containing a compound represented by formula (I) has activities for treating, preventing and improving the dermal tissue disorder, especially stain, pigmentation, chloasma, fleckles, cicatrice, or the like, of the skin. A complex drug obtained by formulating the compound of formula (I) with another known medicine for dermal disease such as an adrenal cortical hormone agent and an antifungal agent exhibits an effective treating effect even if the amount of the compound is less than the effective amount as a single agent [e.g. 1/(10-20)], and further provides no side effect as the complex drug.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
