PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facilities inclusive of a frame, which are for use in tunnel crushing and excavating work of the surrounding ground in order to widen an existing mountain tunnel, the frame being free from hindrance by crushed pieces and excavated pieces when it progresses. ;SOLUTION: Facilities for use in crushing of an existing mountain tunnel and excavation of the surrounding ground includes a protector 16, a frame, and a leading means 34. The protector 16 is arranged on a road surface in a tunnel 10, for defining a traffic passage. The frame has a device mounted thereon, which device is for use in crushing the tunnel and excavating the surrounding ground. The frame is arranged so as to be stretched across the protector and can travel on the road surface in the tunnel. The leading means 34 is arranged in the tunnel, for leading crushed pieces of the tunnel and excavated pieces of the surrounding ground on both sides of the frame.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
