PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and precisely measure the position and action of an organism at a low cost. ;SOLUTION: In this system for grasping position and action of wild organism, the living body 1 of a wild organism is made to hold a terminal 2 having a radio transmission part, two or more receiving stations formed of receiving antennas 3, 3' and 3" and receivers 4, 4', and 4" are arranged in and around the habitant of the living body 1, and a transmission signal from the radio transmission part of the radio terminal 2 is received by the receiving stations to determine the radio incoming direction from the radio terminal, whereby the position of the organism holding the radio terminal is tracked. The transmission of the radio transmission part is controlled by the transmission signal from a transmitting station. A combination of two receiving stations is determined from the receiving stations, a terminal position determined as the intersection of radio incoming directions of the two receiving station constituting each combination is determined for the number of combinations, and weighting of a position error caused by the measurement error of radio incoming direction is performed for each of the terminal positions to specify the position of the living body 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
