Monochromator and fluorescent x-ray analytical instrument null for monochrome line source excitation

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray monochromator and fluorescent X-ray spectrometer performing X-ray excitation to a sample under a condition optimum for each excitation form.;SOLUTION: In a monochromatic ray source exciting monochromator, its one end is formed into a shape the same as that of an X-ray tube mounting shape to a fluorescence X-ray spectrometer body while the other end is formed into a shape the same as that of a florescent X-ray spectrometer body mounting shape to the X-ray tube, so that the monochromatic ray source exciting monochromator can be switched between the X-ray tube and the florescence X-ray spectrometer body. In this way, each of direct excitation based on direct installation of the X-ray tube to the fluorescence X-ray spectrometer body and monochromatic ray source excitation based on installation of the X-ray tube to the fluorescence X-ray spectrometer body via the monochromatic ray source excitation monochromator put between them is carried out in an optimum excitation condition respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
