PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high density heat storage system in which a heat storage air conditioning system can be configured efficiently in a short period utilizing existing heat source apparatus effectively. SOLUTION: A high density heat storage system utilizes a water heat storage system comprising a heat storage water tank 10, a refrigerating machine 13 for cooling heat storage water in the heat storage water tank 10, and a secondary system 12 employing the heat storage water as a heat source. The high density heat storage system further comprises a unit 14 for making ice with the heat storage water in the heat storage water tank 10, and a water/ice carrying pipe 15 for supplying ice made at the ice making unit 14 to the heat storage water tank 10.
