PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce environmental pollution materials and improve flame stability of a burner by providing an air supply plate having a number of air vents at the lower end of a burner support having slits for Bunsen type rich combustion and premixed lean combustion. ;SOLUTION: A gas fuel from a fuel supply port 1 is injected from a gas nozzle 2. At such a moment, adjustment is conducted as to the length and diameter of the gas nozzle 2, the size of an air vent 31 of an air supply plate 3, the diameters of a hole 41 of a partitioning plate 4 and a fuel inlet 61 of a premixed lean combustion slit 6 so as to attain optimal primary air ratios necessary for rich combustion and premixed lean combustion, respectively. As combustion air, a portion of secondary air flows in from the air supply plate 3 to supplement the insufficient air supply to a burner. The remaining primary air flows in through the hole 41 and a mixed gas fuel inlet of the partitioning plate 4. Combustion air and combustion gas are mixed at a given ratio to uniform the flow of fluid, stabilize the flame of the burner and keep the distribution of injection velocity of the mixed gas fuel at a given level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
