PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a reaper for beans into the one having easy operability and an inexpensive price which are the characteristics of the cutting down-type reaper for the beans by miniaturizing and lightening a conventional reaping height controller.;SOLUTION: A lateral base shaft (a) is formed in the front part of a car body 1, and a pulley P1 fixed to one end of the base shaft (a) and a pulley P2 fixed to an output shaft of an engine 3 are connected through a belt B1. The base shaft (a) has a shaft case 20 freely fitting on the outer periphery thereof to integrally connect the base end part of a central grass-separating rod 21. Right and left cutting blades 22 and 22 also used as grass-separating rods are supported by both sides of the base shaft (a), and disk-like cutting blades 23 and 23 are attached to the tips of the cutting blade parts. The grass-separating rod 21 has a base end part integrally fixed to the outer periphery of the shaft case 20. An oblong connecting slot 26a is bored in a lever 26 to allow a connecting pin 26b to be inserted, and the tip of a hydraulic cylinder 27 is connected to the connecting pin 26b. The shaft case 20 has arms 28 and 28 being in contact with the lower sides of the right and left cutting blades 22 and 22 also used as the grass-separating rods and protruded from both sides, and head parts of adjusting screws 29 and 29 protruded from the contacting surfaces.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
