PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting acellular protein-synthesizing germs, to provide a method for producing an acellular protein-synthesizing germ extract, capable of efficiently producing the germ extract in an industrial manner, and to provide an acellular protein-synthesizing solution containing the extract. ;SOLUTION: This method for selecting the acellular protein-synthesizing germs has a grinding process for grinding plant seeds and a selecting process for selecting the germs from the ground plant seeds, wherein an impact grinder is used in the grinding process so that intact germs are separated from the plant seeds at an impact velocity of 25-70 m/s.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
