PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having both functions of a pig shooting device and a pig stopping device in combination. ;SOLUTION: The pig launching and arriving device has a housing 20 which has a chamber 21 and a sleeve 30 which is fixed to this housing 20 and has a receiving section 36. The housing 20 has an inlet 22 which is connected to the terminal of piping arranged on the same axial line as the axial line of the sleeve 30, a supply port 23 which supplies fluid into the chamber 21 and a discharge port 24 which discharges the fluid in the chamber 21. The sleeve 30 has a loading port 41 which is formed at one end of the receiving section 36 connected to the chamber 21 and a shooting port 51 which is connected to the beginning end of the piping and is formed at the other end of the receiving section 36. A tapered part 40 of the diameter reduced from the loading port 41 toward the shooting port 51 is formed in the receiving section 36. Fluid pressure is applied on the inside of the chamber 21 from the supply port 23 to forcibly feed the pig 70 arranged in the receiving section 36 from the shooting port 51.
