Prepaid curd system, control unit and repeating installation

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a prepaid card in common at plural shops and to prevent the use of an illegal card due to forgery or the like. SOLUTION: A receiver 3 transmits a shop code and a card ID or the like stored on the inserted card to a repeater 4. When the received shop code is an ordinary shop code, the repeater 4 stores that card ID in a leaving data base(DB) and reports it to the receiver 3 that the shop code of the card is the ordinary shop code, and the receiver 3 reloads the shop code of the card into leaving card code. The repeater 4 simultaneously registers the information, which is stored in the leaving DB, in a center 5. Besides, when the received shop code is a leaving card code, the repeater 4 inquires whether that card ID is registered in the center 5 or not and when it is registered, it is reported to the receiver 3 that the card under processing is a legal leaving card. Then, the receiver 3 reloads the shop code of the card into prescribed shop code.
