PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance high-frequency apparatus having a thermoelectric element, its manufacturing method and a millimeter-wave trans ceiver, the thermoelectric element of which hardly breaks or is deformed even at an increased (thickness L/cross sectional area S) ratio and superior in cooling power, resulting in a stabilized output oscillation frequency and a stabilized output and high reliability. PSOLUTION: The high-frequency apparatus comprises an oscillation element for generating high-frequency signals at a frequency of 30 GHz or higher, and a thermoelectric element having a hardness of 0.5 GPa or higher, fixed directly to the oscillation element.
