PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal blank, which is capable of increasing variable sensitivity of an oscillation frequency without increasing the CI value, while its size remains small, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof, a crystal resonator using the crystal blank, a crystal resonator using the crystal blank, a crystal oscillation circuit, a portable telephone set, and electronic equipment. ;SOLUTION: The AT-cut crystal blank 10 can be housed in a package 22, having a length of 3.2 mm or smaller and a width of 2.5 mm or smaller, has a shape which is long in a direction specified as being X direction, and has main vibration f0 of 26 MHz band.
